75 Saplings Planting Program on the Occasion of Independence Day
Seva Sangama Organization in Kalaburagi has been serving in the Kalaburagi district for the past 17 years, focusing on the empowerment of women, self-help groups, small farmers, differently- abled individuals, and women's empowerment. In the village of Fartabad in Kalaburagi Taluk, a Environment Day celebration was organized by planting 75 saplings on the occasion of Independence Day.

The Panchayat Development Officer, Mrs. Prema Doddamani, along with the Gram Panchayat President, Mrs. Sharanamma Chandrashekhar Sajjan, and Vice President, Mr. Yellappa Shetteppa Melakundi, emphasized that Environment Day should not just be a one-day event but should be celebrated every day by planting a sapling in front of every house. The village leaders, Gram Panchayat members, Mr. Chandrakant, the coordinator of the Ujjivan program from Seva Sangama, and activist Mr. Naveen also participated in this event.
