In October, the Sparsha program was conducted in villages around Kalaburagi Taluk, including Parthabad, Dharmapur, Nandikur, and Udanur, as well as in the Seva Sangam organization's hall. The program provided information about what cancer is and the effects of cancer. It highlighted the factors that cause cancer, including raising awareness that excessive use of plastic can also lead to cancer. The program also discussed how modern lifestyle choices, such as consuming bakery foods, can negatively impact a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, information was shared about the benefits of home gardening for maintaining good health. During the event, a donation of Rs.30 was collected to support poor families affected by cancer. A total of 173 people participated in this program and made use of its benefits.
