Early Intervention and Early Education Program at Aland

A one-day training workshop was organized at the Taluk Panchayat Hall (Samarthya Soudha) in Aland Taluk by Seva Sangama Organization, Kalaburagi, for Anganwadi workers in the Aland urban area under the program "Early Intervntion and Early Education."

The workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department, Aland, and the Taluk Panchayat, Aland.

Inaugurating the program, Shishu Abhivruddhi Yojana Adhikari (Child Development Project Officer) Shri Shrikant Mengaji, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of understanding children's developmental stages. He stated that the training, organized by Seva Sangama, aimed to equip all Anganwadi workers with the necessary knowledge to identify children with developmental delays. He urged the participants to make the most of this opportunity.

The chief guest, Shri Vishwanath, Assistant Director, Taluk Panchayat, Aland, highlighted the significance of early detection in preventing disabilities in children. He explained that the primary objective of the training was to help identify developmental delays early so that necessary interventions could be made to prevent disabilities or, in cases where disabilities are unavoidable, to equip children with the skills needed for independent living.

During the event, Father Deepak, Co-Director of Seva Sangama Organization, Kalaburagi, delivered the introductory remarks. Smt. Mahadevi, Supervisor of Anganwadi Centers, was also present on the stage.

A total of ,40 Anganwadi workers from the Aland urban area participated in the workshop.
