Kalaburagi: A one-day training workshop on early intervention and early education for children with developmental delays was organized for Anganwadi workers, rural rehabilitation workers, and Gram Panchayat members by Seva Sangam in collaboration with the Azim Premji Foundation. Speaking at the event, Fr Steven Vegas, Secretary of the Diocese Education Institution in Kalaburagi, emphasized that if everyone engaged in social service does so with sincerity, society can undoubtedly be transformed into a better one
Fr Deepak, Co-Director of Seva Sangam, also spoke, noting that this training program was organized to benefit the rural population. The workshop focused on the rapid identification and early education of children with developmental delays. He encouraged all participants to gain the maximum benefit from the training they were involved in.
The program was inaugurated with the ritual of watering a sapling. Present at the event were Fr Stanley Lobo, Mrs. Seema Rathod, Anganwadi Supervisor from the Farhatabad region, Kalaburagi, Mr. Kasim, District Coordinator of VRW, Kalaburagi, and Mr. Sadanand, the resource person. Around 60 participants attended the event. The program was hosted by Miss Anita, welcomed by Mr. Nagaraj, and concluded with thanks from Mrs. Shivakanta.
