Under the Ujjivan Program, on October 10, farmers visited Sharanabasappa Patil’s field at Halsultanpur village in Kalaburagi taluk .Who was awarded as the Scientific Agriculture Expert Award from government of Karnataka for his initiatives in agriculture. He provided training on his farming methods, zero investment agriculture, organic farming, the use of solar energy, and Jeevamrutha (a natural fertilizer). In this program, Fr Deepak, Co-director of Seva Sangama and 38 farmers, including women, participated and received training.
