The Sparsha program was conducted in the month of September in villages and schools around Kalaburagi Taluk, such as Sitanur, Parthabad, and Savalagi, to raise awareness about cancer. Mrs. Swati, the coordinator of the Sparsha program, informed the attendees about the symptoms of cancer, methods of cancer prevention, precautionary measures, and the benefits of getting screened for cancer. Additionally, she shared information about the advantages of organic gardening at home and encouraged people to engage in home gardening for maintaining good health. During the event, a donation collection of Rs.273 was made to support poor families with cancer patients. A total of 140 people participated in the programs and benefited from it.
