Review of the Third Phase of Ujjeevana Programs
On March 2, 2024,:Dr. Haridas, the state-level manager of Caritas India's Ujjeevana program, along with Robert D'Souza, the assistant manager, and Father Victor Vas and Father Deepak from Seva Sangama Organization, reviewed the third phase of the Ujjeevana program. They visited Udanur, Farthabad and other areas, inspected self-help groups, and farmers' fields. They were happy with the progress in organic farming and mixed crops, and they praised the program staff

"Rainwater Harvesting During Monsoon"
On March 19, 2024, during a visit to Naganahalli village, Mr. Chandrakant, the Ujjeevana program coordinator, visited the fields of farmers Anand and Mallikarjuna Patil. He advised on rainwater harvesting to address water scarcity. He suggested identifying areas where water runs off and creating structures to collect it, which would help recharge borewells and prevent water shortages during the summer.
