Improving People'as Standard of Living... is Rural Development
In Panegaon village of Kalaburagi district, Mr. Naveen, a worker of the Ujjivan program from
Seva Sangama, raised awareness in a meeting about non-agricultural group activities. He
emphasized that people should not solely rely on agriculture but instead focus on non-
agricultural activities such as pottery, dairy farming, beekeeping, weaving, cot-making, self-
employment, and other such trades, in order to establish a livelihood suited to family needs.
A total of 14 farmers participated in this program and gained valuable information.
