On October 30 and 31, under the Ujjivan program of Seva Sangama, the Karnataka state-level coordinator, Mr. Robert D'Souza, visited Seethanur village to inspect the services provided by Ujjivan workers in the villages. He reviewed the work of four farmers involved in organic farming and two women farmers, members of self-help groups, who are engaged in kitchen gardening. He also examined five farmers' fields to observe their efforts in poultry farming, water conservation, and the use of Jeevamrutha (natural fertilizer).
