Kalaburagi District is one of the districts in North Karanataka affected by malnutrition. Sevasangama in collaboration with KROSS, Bangalore initiated PAUSTIK, Resilience to Malnutrition Program for Pregnant women, lactating mothers and children below age 6 in 48 villages of Kalaburagi Taluq.

Sevasangama collaborates with Women and Child Welfare Department, Health Department and implements the program with the cooperation of Anganwadi workers, ASHAs, Primary Health Centres, Govt. Schools.

During COVID 19 Pandemic, Sevasangama distributed 200 Food Kits and Nutrition Supplements to Pregnant women and Lactating mothers in collaboration with Caritas India and zomato.

This will help them to fight malnutrition and hunger during this crisis time as they are without work and earnings.
