Women’s day celebration held at ‘Kannada Bavana’ Kalburgi on 15-03-2024.Program began with a rally from Sardar Vallabai Pate l Chowk. Hundreds of women participated in the rally .In the stage program 9 women were honored with “Women Achiever Award” for their outstanding performance in different fields. Sr Philomina Menezes in her presidential speech stressed that the importance of gender equality is very necessary for healthy society. Bishop Robert Miranda, Shrimathi Lakshmi Dattathreya Patil, Fr Stany Lobo,Fr Victor Vaz(Sevasangam Director),Fr Vincent Perira, Fr Joseph Praveen,Shreemathi Renuka Saradagi, Dr Swapana Patil, Shri Sharanu Pappa, Smt Thrapthi Lakhe,Smt Ashwini Madankar,Kumari Mahananda Shinge,Smt Lashmi Kupendra were present on the stage. Hundreds of women from different SHG were participated in the program.
